Learn How To Do Your Own Equipment Servicing and Repairs with our Lead Engineer

At Northwick, we firmly believe that having your own onsite, trained maintenance technician provides you with a number of important benefits:-

  • Immediate problem response
  • Cheaper repair bills
  • Less breakdowns
  • Longer life of equipment

Our online training courses cover all aspects  of maintenance from simple repairs through to complex root cause diagnosis. Our courses are designed, written, accredited and facilitated by J.C. Isaacs, Chartered Engineer, BEng (Hons), MIET who is an internationally recognised, independent, technical authority on the repair and maintenance of gym equipment. The content of our courses are used to train (and refresh) our own team of in house professional Engineers and Technicians who regularly work in gyms the length and breadth of the UK servicing and repairing a wide variety of fitness equipment. Their expertise is built on hands-on experience and a thorough understanding of how equipment works. Their experience is regularly fed-back in order to keep the course content relevant and representative of current best practice.

How Does it Work?

Courses are streamed live and joining instructions are issued when your place is booked and paid. You then simply log in at the appropriate time and date and the course content is delivered live to your device (phone, tablet or computer). You are welcome to participate by asking questions and there is no requirement for you to perform any activities or to demonstrate your understanding to the other delegates. The instructor will use our own gym equipment. If you are unable to make the live streaming event, then the content is available for download for 7 days from the original streaming date. At the end of the course, there is an optional exam and downloadable certificate to recognise your achievement.
